Three companies recently launched a new bike share initiative for Anna Maria Island residents and visitors. The initiative is intended to encourage alternative, environmentally friendly transportation around the island. The project was founded by The Center of Anna Maria Island, Beach Bums AMI and Adventure Away and will begin with four bike share hubs where riders can pick up and drop off bikes.
