The Sarasota County Council of Neighborhood Associations will gather at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, for a discussion about age-friendly adaptations that enable one to continue to safely enjoy one's home while advancing in age. Greg Hall, a local architect who has become well-versed in age-friendly home adaptations, will speak, as will Andrew Georgiadis, an urban designer who will discuss design strategies for the planning of our public bayfront that apply both urban traditions and ecological contexts. The meeting will take place at the Sarasota Garden Club, 1131 Boulevard of the Arts, Sarasota.
