The workforce development nonprofit CareerSource Suncoast recently hired Chris Laney as its new director of education and community investment. Laney most recently worked at the information technology company MapleTronics. He is the chair of the annual State of Jobs Conference, which aims to prepare middle and high school students for their future careers.
