Products from Sarasota's Citra Products of Florida will be included in a new exhibit documenting Old Florida products reminiscent of Florida vacations from Nov. 10 to Feb. 18 at the Manatee County Agricultural Museum, 515 10th Ave. W., Palmetto. The exhibit, titled "Citrus Kitsch: Memories of Old Florida," explores the citrus industry in Florida, with early 20th century postcards of packinghouses and groves, citrus tools and more. Citra will display its flagship product from 1910, a wooden “citrus sucker," a wooden device that allowed juice to be sipped directly from the orange itself.
