Festival of Skeletons Artwalk in Village of the Arts
November 4-5

Come to one of The Village of the Arts' most popular weekends for a family-friendly event that features live music, crafts, face painting, decorated shops and even a shrine dedicated to David Bowie. Retrobaked will be offering gluten-free and vegan treats including guest vendors Ray’s Vegan Soul and Sunshine Canning; nearby Darwin Brewing Co. will be unveiling its new Ofrenda, a dark saison ale, at its release party in conjunction with the art walk. Friday 6-9:30 p.m.; Saturday 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Valentino Pizzeria Trattoria Wine Dinner
November 9

Valentino’s University Parkway location will be hosting a wine dinner that features wines from Il Conte Villa Prandone Vineyard in Monteprandone, Italy. At $49, you’ll be able to try numerous authentic Italian dishes, such as Mushroom & Prosciutto Lasagna, paired with hand-selected wines. 8203 Cooper Creek Boulevard, Sarasota

First Friday Wine & Cheese Tasting
November 4

Guests at this Southside Village event will be able to sample food from both Morton’s as well as some local vendors. There will be a selection of delicious cheeses and international wines. Tasting fees are $10 with $25 purchase of the wines featured that evening. 1924 S Osprey Ave, Sarasota

2017 Forks & Corks Tickets On Sale
November 7

Tickets for this local favorite festival go on sale November 7th. In its 10th year, Forks & Corks 2017 will feature a spread of delicious foods as well as an international selection of wines and visiting vineyard owners and winemakers. There will be samples from over 50 members of the Sarasota Manatee Originals restaurants, interactive food and wine seminars, live entertainment, and numerous vintner events. Tapas & Taps with Shakespeare's Craft Beer and Gastropub
November 7

At this week's Tapas & Taps, Shakespeare's will serve up curried chicken and almond tacos with beer-battered dill pickle, paired with Jade Pale Ale; beer cheese dip with house chips paired with Pirata Pils; and a brie and caramelized onion slider with fries paired with Finchtoberfest Marzen Lager.  $29; 7-9 p.m. Tickets available here.
