Sarasota's Insula Companies recently purchased Calibre Bend Apartments in Winter Park, Florida, for $29 million, bringing its total property acquisitions this year to more than $100 million. The 212-unit Calibre Bend property was acquired from a private owner on Oct. 7. Insula has planned a $1.5 million makeover to enhance the apartments. The purchase is the company’s 26^th since the firm began operations in 2009. The company owns properties in Tampa Bay, Orlando, Lakeland and throughout Southwest Florida.
