The Spanish-influenced estate at 2110 Casey Key Road, Casa Hermoso Amanecer, or House of the Early Morning Light, sold for $5.05 million, making it the highest-priced residential sale in Sarasota County in February. It was the first time on the market for the 5,816-square-foot, four-bedroom home, built in 1990, which has a separate one-bedroom, one-bath bayside guesthouse and pool, and its own beach cabana. It originally had been listed at $5.9 million. Nick Herron of RE/MAX Alliance Group represented both the seller and buyer.

A condo in the posh Positano development on north Longboat Key sold for $3.5 million in February after just three months on the market, making it one of the highest residential condo sales in Manatee County in recent years. The three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath home has 3,123 square feet of living space, its own elevator, two-and-a-half-car garage and 1,500-plus-square-foot outdoor terrace with private pool. The price included $3.03 million for the condominium and $470,000 for the furnishings. Dennis Kotaska of RE/MAX Alliance Group was the seller’s agent. It last sold for $3,744,000 in 2006.
