REALRail Model Railroad Show Takes Place March 7-8 in Palmetto
The Railroad Education and Learning Center (REALRail) will be sponsoring a model train show featuring the Lionel Collectors Club of America on Saturday and Sunday, March 7-8, 2015 at the Bradenton Area Convention Center in Palmetto. RealRail is dedicated to educating Floridians about railroading through interactive experiences with models and exhibits.
The exhibit will include REALRail's new interactive Lionel layout, its famous Comet layout and train simulator for kids, door prizes and much more.
They’ll have operating exhibits in many different scales.
Also present will be the Greater Florida Lego Group, which will be exhibiting models of downtown Tampa and downtown Atlanta built out of Lego bricks.
There will be more than 150 tables of railroading and model railroad merchandise.
The event is open to the public. Admission for adults is $8 and kids 13 and under are free.
The Bradenton Area Convention Center is located at 1 Haben Blvd, Palmetto. Doors open at 10 a.m.
