Mabry Carlton Jr. Reserve is located in Sarasota County Florida near the city of Venice. I spent some hours there last week hiking the primitive trails and campgrounds. It is incredibly quiet with 24,000 plus acres of florida dry prairies and oak hammock with freshwater streams and lakes.
