The Society of Professional Journalists has announced the winners of its 2015 Sunshine State Awards, which recognize excellence in journalism and design throughout Florida. Sarasota Magazine received eight awards overall in the magazine category, including first place for Feature Story and Magazine Commentary & Criticism and a sweep of first, second and third place awards in the Public Service Reporting category.
