Good News Friday: Big Deals - Aug. 22, 2014

The two parcels attached to the State Street Garage project have found builders. The 14,000-square-foot commercial condominium space has been given to WMR Consulting LLC for $1.8 million, while the second 5,000-square-foot undeveloped pad site will go to Hembree & Associates for $688,000. The offers were the highest bids received by Ian Black, who acted as the city’s agent in the transactions. The sales will be finalized after a 30-day review. The $11 million parking garage, which began construction earlier this summer, will provide nearly 400 parking spaces and is anticipated to be complete early next year.*

Echo Paradise LLC purchased Paradise Plaza, located at the intersection of U.S. 41 and Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota, from Wisconsin-based Paradise Plaza LLC for $26.7 million. Echo Paradise is an affiliate of Blawnox, Pa.-based Echo Realty. The plaza is currently about 90 percent occupied.

 


 

Salty Brands, LLC has leased 1,124 square feet in Cortez Village Square in Manatee County. Ben Bakker with Michael Saunders & Company handled the transaction.
