Good News Friday: Big Deals - June 27, 2014

Ataraxia LLC has purchased the 10,580-square-foot restaurant building at 1216 First St. in Sarasota, which formerly housed Ceviche Tapas Bar, from BFM Enterprises, Inc. for $2.1 million. Ceviche is relocating to 55 Palm Ave. Abe Uccello of Waterside Realty represented the buyer; Rob Wilhoit of Sara Bay Realty represented the seller.

 


 

Pro-Build Real Estate Holdings LLC has sold the 97,000-square-foot Pro-Build door and truss plant at 6345 McIntosh Road in Sarasota to Mullet’s Aluminum Products Inc. for $3.5 million. Mullet’s, currently operating from two 16,000-square-foot buildings and using offsite storage, will relocate this weekend and reopen on Monday, June 30.

 


 

Jack and Judith Scrivens have purchased the 3,450-square-foot flex-space condo at 799 Commerce Drive, #16, in Venice from Liberty Capital, Inc. for $235,000. Troy Robbins of Robbins Realty represented the buyer; Tony Veldkamp of Sperry Van Ness Commercial Advisory Group represented the seller.

 


 

5D Composite has leased 6,500 square feet of industrial space at 1781 Independence Blvd., Suites 1-4, in Sarasota. Mike Migone of Sperry Van Ness Commercial Advisory Group handled the transaction.

 


Jade Sarasota, LLC. has leased the vacant land at 7250 S. Tamiami Trail from 7250, Inc. for the construction of a second Sarasota-area Culver’s Restaurant.  Ken Hoskinson Jr. of Hembree & Associates represented the owner and Dennis Dahm of Michael Saunders represented the tenant.
