Publix Super Markets Charities has committed sponsorship to three upcoming Forty Carrots events, including the Firefly Gala (March 24) and Wine, Women, and Shoes (Nov. 13-15), both of which raise funds for early childhood and parenting education, and a community speaker event (Oct. 9) that offers free advice for parents and educators. For more than 10 years Publix’s charitable foundation has supported the agency; a $100,000 pledge to Forty Carrots was instrumental in the agency’s purchase of its $1.3 million headquarters.
