For most Sarasotans, crossing the John Ringling Bridge that arches over Sarasota Bay is always a glorious experience. That’s true for artist John Pirman as well. “Aside from the bridge being an architectural delight,” he says, “the lush Sylvester and Washingtonian palms that line the roadway create a dramatic driving and walking experience. I’m always eager to see what awaits me.”
