Halifax Media Group, owner of the Sarasota Herald-Tribune and 35 other newspapers and affiliated web sites, has agreed to be acquired by New Media Investment Group Inc. New Media, a publicly traded company, said it will pay $280 million in cash for Halifax, subject to adjustments. Yeshua’s Love Biblical Fellowship of Sarasota purchased the building sitting on 24 acres at 8893 Fruitville Road in Sarasota from First Church of God of Sarasota for $2 million. Kevin Robbins of Harry E. Robbins Associates, Inc. handled the transaction.

 


 

Tropak, LLC purchased the 2,288-square-foot retail building at 3800 N. Washington Blvd. in Sarasota for $748,500 from The Rogers Family Partnership LTD. Nef Mascorro of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT handled the transaction.

 


Judd, Ulrich, Scarlett, Wickman & Dean, P.A. leased a 3,220-square-foot office suite at 713 S. Orange Ave. in Sarasota. Linda Emery of Sperry Van Ness Commercial Advisory Group represented the landlord while Jeff Cashmore with Robbins Realty represented the tenant.

 


 

The Way Church of Bradenton leased a 2,763-square-foot retail space located at 6610 Cortez Road W. in Bradenton for a new church. David Murrell of Sperry Van Ness Commercial Advisory Group represented the tenant.
