Good News Friday: Big Deals - January 31, 2014

Southwest Florida-based Matter Brothers Furniture & Design has purchased a 107,000-square-foot industrial/distribution building at 4675 Clark Road, Sarasota, from Parker-Hannifin Corporation for $4.1 million. The warehouse, a former Dana Corp hydraulics manufacturing facility, had been on the market for seven years. Industrial sales broker Jon Kleiber of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT handled the transaction.

Matter Brothers Furniture plans to convert the facility into a 90,000-square-foot furniture showroom; Dunedin-based Bandes Construction has been hired for the renovations. Parker-Hannifin, a Cleveland-based manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems, purchased the property in 2000.

 


 

EON Marine has leased a 28,425-square-foot warehouse building, located at 4597 15th St. E., Bradenton, from BE Bradenton Properties LTD. Stan Rutstein of RE/MAX Alliance Group handled the transaction.

 


 

Fresh Cleaners has leased 1,200 square feet in the Twelve Oaks Shopping Center, 7262 55th Ave. E., Bradenton. The company plans to open its first facility at the location within a few weeks. Eric Massey with the Commercial Division of Michael Saunders & Company handled the transaction. In the last two years, Massey has facilitated the lease of five suites in the shopping center, which is now 100 percent occupied.

 


 

EvoPro Solutions, Inc. and iSystems, LLC have leased 1,825 square feet of office space on the ninth floor of the Bradenton Financial Center, 1401 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton. Angela Varga and Debra Cooper with the downtown Bradenton office of Sperry Van Ness Commercial Advisory Group handled the transaction. Cooper and Varga are the exclusive in-house leasing agents for the Bradenton Financial Center.

 


 

A massage company has leased a 1,100-square-foot suite at 1999 Lincoln Drive, Sarasota, which is now 100 percent occupied. Eric Massey with the Commercial Division of Michael Saunders & Company handled the transaction.
