It’s the first weekend of June–have you found the summer satchel that will cradle a weekend’s worth of warm weather essentials?  I know, I know…it’s not that easy to find something stylish enough to take everywhere. And, the frugal beachgoer wants something purposeful that will outlast just one season.  So I did a little scouting – here are a few totes, from the quintessential to the edgy summer bag.  Once you shake out the last grain of sand (yeah, right, like that will ever happen) turn it into your stylishly green shopper for the farmer’s market or make it your workout carryall for Fall.

More cute totes from Tory Burch.  Love this open topped orange/gold/black basket-weave – it’s a classic seaside tote, for certain :: $295

This Elements Hampton’s paper straw tote has a little St. Tropez appeal with a down-to-basics price tag :: $54, and, it ships free from Zappos.com.

And nothing says "beaching it" better than a straw tote. Can’t you just see your sunnies and summer reading in this one? Love the bamboo green against the oatmeal straw color :: Cole Haan, $198
