Bob Furman of Furman's Inc., a 40-plus year franchisee of Burger King, received the company's 2004 Award of Excellence.

Clark Road Properties, LLLP, has purchased 3355 Clark Road, Sarasota, a 16,000-square-foot medical building for $2.64 million. Third Federal Savings is the current tenant.

Wayne Murray has purchased 2269 Porter Lake Drive, Sarasota, the former Oddy Perfection Engine Shop in Interstate Industrial Park, for $1.04 million.
