Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe: Pipeline

“From Creation to Production: Where It All Begins”

DeSoto Grand Parade

More than 80 years old, the DeSoto Heritage Festival Grand Parade had to be canceled last year due to Covid; it returns at 7 p.m. Saturday, kicking off at Manatee High School and following its traditional route down Ninth Avenue West to 39^th Street West and Manatee Avenue to Ninth Street West. Themed “A Salute to Our Healthcare Heroes,” the parade will feature lots of floats, a group of veterans, and local celebs. More info at desotohq.com.
