'Fashion Funds the Cure' Returns to Sarasota

The benefit raises funds for local pediatric cancer patients.

By Staff February 25, 2021

On March 6, the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s "Fashion Funds the Cure" event will be returning to The Mall at University Town Center in Sarasota. The national event tour raises critical funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research that is focused on developing less toxic, more effective treatment options for children. Each show features local children battling cancer. Traditionally, in the event's finale, “The Dream Walk,” each child walks down the runway paired with a local “role model” who works in the child's dream profession. Due to the pandemic, all children participating in the show will be featured virtually on video monitors and meet their role models prior to the event. This year, professional models will walk the runway and guests will enjoy a dinner catered by Seasons 52. For more information, click here.
