The laboratory at Doctors Hospital of Sarasota recently earned accreditation from the College of American Pathologists. During the accreditation process, inspectors examined the lab’s records and quality control procedures for the preceding two years. Inspectors also examined the laboratory staff qualifications, equipment, facilities, safety program and overall management.
