The Healthy Start Coalition of Sarasota County, Inc. was forced to reschedule its annual "Breakfast of Champions" event because of Hurricane Irma. The event will now take place from 8:30 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, 777 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. During the breakfast, the nonprofit will induct its new executive board and present its annual awards to supporters. Healthy Start's mission is to improve the health and well-being of pregnant women, infants and young children. Individual tickets are free. Register online.
