A Sweetheart Reception, hosted by Mike and Jewel Ash, will be held for Zeani the previous evening, Feb. 11. Tickets are $75 per person. Proceeds from both events will benefit the Sarasota Opera Association.

Benjamin Cohen, a graduate of the University of Manchester and the London School of Economics, has worked as a TV and radio journalist for the BBC and was a media specialist with the U.N. peacekeeping mission in the former Yugoslavia. Mr. Cohen will discuss "The Intellectual Assault Against Israel" in academia, labor unions and the media. $18 per person.
