SARASOTA, FL
(May 19, 2006) Sarasota Magazine, a Gulfshore/CurtCo Media Publication,
announces winning the 2006 SPJ Sunshine State Award.
The Society of Professional Journalists recently held their
twelfth annual awards competition, which drew over 1200 entries and included

Henriques of the New York Times and Terry Neal of the Washington Post commented,
“Writing about buildings is probably the hardest kind of criticism to make
interesting. Storm does so.”
