| Gulfshore Division of CurtCo Media Names Frances Herzog Associate Publisher of Business and Special Publications | ||
SARASOTA, FL (April 10, 2006) – The Gulfshore divison of CurtCo Media today announced the promotion of Frances Herzog to the recently expanded position of Associate Publisher of the company’s Business and Special Publications group, to include Sarasota/Manatee Business magazine. As Associate Publisher, Ms. Herzog will oversee Sarasota/Manatee Business, St. Armands Magazine, the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce Guides and other select contract publications. Ms. Herzog most recently held the position of Account Executive with CurtCo’s city and lifestyle magazine, SARASOTA, where she was instrumental in the dramatic growth of that publication’s retail sector. Immediately prior to her move to Sarasota, she was the sole proprietor of an event development, product marketing and media buying services company in Buffalo, NY. She has 21 years of experience in new business development, creative services, marketing and sponsorship sales in print and electronic media, 13 of which were spent in broadcast. Ms. Herzog holds a degree in business and marketing management from Brock University – St. Catharines, Ontario. “Fran’s depth of experience gives her an edge in her new position,” says SARASOTA Magazine’s executive publisher Jeff Lawenda. “She is a committed professional who consistently generates results, using creative approaches learned from her many years in media and media services.
