Up at 7 a.m. Friday morning. Nothing to do but head to Bradenton Beach.

Back from the beach, 'bout time to mow the lawn...

...and clean out the garage...

...and practice my swing (stupid tree).

I was cat-sitting for my parents this weekend; the new marina-front Bearded Clam is two blocks from the house I grew up in.

Friday-night dinner at Hooters with Krazy Kevin.

Had a good night (for me) on the lanes--142, 134, 128.

Blurry cuteness.

This should totally be my ball, dammit.

Friday-night fun leads to Saturday-morning breakfast with Krazy Kevin at Bob Evans.

Burned off my bacon (bum knee notwithstanding) at my Saturday-evening soccer game taking free kicks...

Alas, we had to miss Mr. Beery's O Canada party Saturday night due to CCB's flu-like symptoms, so we celebrated at home with a six-pack of Molson and some Canada Dry ginger ale. The better to rest up for...

Of COURSE there's a Stella in the grill.

It's probably mean to take advantage of the fact that we have bottles as decorations anyway, right?

Ransacked the lanai only to find a Mike's in the lacrosse basket.

In the end, we can only say that the cat was mildly amused.
