Silecchia. Continuing on view at the Palm Avenue gallery
through July 5 are works by mixed media painter Cary Henrie. Opening July 6 to
run through Aug. 2: an exhibition of abstract paintings and sculpture in
aluminum by Paul Tamanian, followed by a show highlighting the blown glass forms
of Hiroshi Yamano, Aug. 3 through Sept. 6. And then comes a show with Colombian
oil painter Homero Aguilar, Sept. 7 through Oct. 4.

Museum of Art. Eberhard Havekost 1999-2006: Paintings from
the Rubell Family Collection and
Memorials of Identity: New Media from the
Rubell Family Collection remain
on view through July 8. You can also see works by “outsider” artist Purvis Young
at TMA through July 22. Opening July 21 to run through Sept. 23 is Color: Ten African-American Artists, while the
National Sculpture Society annual award exhibition opens the same date but runs

Ringling
Museum of Art. On
view in the new Ulla R. and Arthur F. Searing Wing through Aug. 12: In Our Time: The World as Seen by Magnum Photographers. Landscapes from the Age of
Impressionism, featuring some 40 paintings from the Brooklyn Museum of Art,
continues here through Sept. 16. Opening Sept. 30 to run through Jan. 4 is Francisco Goya: Los Caprichos, a series
of etchings by the great Spanish artist dealing with such themes as the Spanish
Inquisition, witchcraft and the corruption of the Catholic church of the time.
And continuing in one of the museum’s “pocket exhibitions” through July 29 is Canaletto Paired: 18th-Century Venetian View Painting.

Gallery. Opening July 6 to run through Aug. 8 is the show John Howey, Architect, featuring models and drawings
for his projects, shown in a recent book about his work; also for those dates,
an exhibition of designs for the new Sarasota Museum of Art from the ADP Group.
Those shows are followed by a retrospective featuring the works of David Byrd
and a Social Issues in Graphic Design

this museum presents Dali in Focus,
July 13 through January 2008, a collection of the artist’s oils, watercolors and
