Burnt orange—the hip new hue for fall.

Warm, rich and mellow enough to work as an accent or a neutral, burnt orange is this season’s hot decorating hue. Both exotic and grounded in nature, burnt orange is reminiscent of desert sands at dusk, a lingering island sunset or a primitive tribal painting. It’s hip, eye-catching and laid-back all at the same time. Check out these ways to add a tint of burnt orange—or a related hue—to your home.

Stainless steel is so 2005. Warmth and color are sneaking back into kitchens with a 1950s retro flair, so make a statement by ordering an orange refrigerator from Big Chill. Call (877) 842-3269 or visit www.bigchillfridge.com. $2,700.
