Your Guide to 238 Great Causes

We're proud to present our annual listing of local nonprofits. These organizations contribute to every aspect of the Sarasota community, from feeding the hungry and housing the homeless to nurturing our youth and expanding our intellect, our culture and our humanity.

asset_upload_file916_28478.jpgEach organization in our register holds a 501(c)3 designation and is locally headquartered. Additionally, most hold public fund raisers that invite the community to have some fun while supporting a cause. (For a schedule of the season’s biggest nonprofit events, see our social calendar.) And of course, in addition to financial contributions, many of these organizations rely on volunteers to carry out their missions. Here you’ll find ways you can do your part.
